"So, Ethan, tells us a little about you."
Alright, so, the name's Ethan Alexander Monroe. I'm ninteen years old, and I compete in prestigious events for a living. I've been riding since was five, and have won and lost many times in the show ring, just like any other rider out there.
"How interesting. Now, tell us, why are you here at Silver Water Valley? Clearly you're successful enough to be living high and mighty in California."
Something about small towns just calls to me. I prefer them to fancy cities anyday. Plus, some of the best people can be found here. You never really know who you're going to meet.
"Alright. Well, what are some things you do in spare time?"
Well, riding obviously. I also play drums and acoustic guitar. I have modeled for a site, and I do that when I get the chance. Actually, I love to figure out how stuff works, you know? So, when it comes down to it, I can take something apart and put it back together. I also enjoy a good bit of reading, believe that or not, and I study vampirism often.
"Hm... How interesting. You seem pretty well rounded. Are you like that, personality wise?"
Well, I can be pretty mellow when it all come down to it, and people often times tell me I should smile more. I guess to most people I'm a constant dower. But, that's just me. I lack a colourful personality like most people of the world. But that's what makes me me.
However, I can be quite outgoing when I want to, and even a bit on the playful side. I certainly know how to treat a girl right, and my friends? Well, they're my life. I would never backstab any of them for any reason. Not even if they did so to me. Point is, once they trust me with something, I don't ever spill. Not for my life. Not if they hate me. It's their secret to tell, not mine. It's best for me to keep my mouth shut.
I'm loyal to my friends. So loyal, and that if a friend of mine breaks up with his girl, and we really like each other, I won't date her, simply because she's his ex. Or vice versa... Since I'm bi, and only if they are too. It's just how I am. But, despite all that, I can be a real party animal. I love to go to raves and just have a good time. Especially after a show. It's just a great way to have some fun. Loosen up. Win or lose, doesn't matter to me.
"You seem like a very nice young man. Can we get a little background history?"
Sure. My history is pretty much the same as the next person. Ups and downs with the family, ups and downs with friends. Tons of drama situations. Girlfriend and boyfriends came and went. Things of that sort. The only difference with mine really is that I ride horses. Of course, I look oddly out of place upon the back of an equine, but it was something I loved from a young age. Of course, most of my friends never understood this, so I was often times made fun of, but some found it cool.
It took me a few years to get the hang of riding enough to even start training for competitions. Show Jumping took me six years to master, and dressage took me two, and I'm still learning in dressage as of today, but show-jumping became my balance beam between learning and failure. I was always told, "Go back to what you know best, then what you're trying to learn." It worked. It relieved the stress. A lot. Anyway, unlike most riders, I've never taken a bad spill. I mean, yes, I've been thrown and fallen off, but I never had to go to the hospital or anything like that. A few cuts and bruises. That's about it.
"It sounds like you led a very simple lifestyle. That's all for day, Mr. Monroe."
